After seeing the dire situation of the people living at Pata Rat dump and of those living in the neighbouring camp called Dallas, we went back to hand out the boots, gloves and socks to everybody there. This September the Small Steps Project team will be travelling to Romania to deliver over 1000 pairs of boots, socks and gloves on Cluj rubbish dump in Tranyslvania. In 2010 hundreds of Roma people were evicted by the govenment to Pata Rat, situated next to the municipal rubbish dump where they live in poor conditions and have remained there ever since.
