Turning waste into compost in Battambang, Cambodia

On our trip to Battambang to meet TKG and Comped, two NGO’s which run a nursery for kids living on the local landfill site, we also had the chance to meet a different branch of Comped. Comped also runs Social Waste Management, where they make compost from the waste produced in the local markets of Battambang. John, the manager, showed us the space. Our little trip to Glastonbury 2017

Thanks to Imagine Asia and Scott Dunn Travel

Thanks to our new donor Imagine Asia, who together, with our long standing donor Scott Dunn Travel, have now taken over full funding of our entire Cambodia Project from Comic Relief.  The Cambodia project is located in the outskirts of Phnom Penh, on the Takhmao Dump, where around 200 people live and work.
