We’re delighted that the amazing pupils at Clifton School and Nursery have chosen Small Steps Project as their charity for the current academic year.

Last year’s brilliant Year 2 pupils raised a fantastic £1,300 for the project. Taking inspiration from their work on Stig of the Dump, the pupils held a huge fundraising event in June, where they raised money by selling a myriad of their own creations, including delicious cakes, handmade cards and cushions featuring wellies. The pupils also organised their own bake sales and garage sales at home.

This successful fundraising event was overseen by Year 2 teachers Judith Hall and Helen Spencer. Mrs Hall said: “June’s event was such a huge success that the children were really eager to help the Small Steps Project again this term. We’ve already raised a fantastic sum, and everybody is excited to try and top that this year.”

We are so proud that they have continued to support us again this year – find out all about the small steps they are taking this year here

A huge thank you to everyone involved from all of us here at Small Steps Project!
