Legendary Scottish singer, songwriter and activist, Annie Lennox shot to fame with 1980s band, the Eurythmics. Their string of hits include Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), Here Comes the Rain Again and Who’s That Girl?
Annie went onto a hugely successful solo career with her 1992 debut album Diva, followed by Medusa, Bare, Songs of Mass Destruction, A Christmas Cornucopia and Nostalgia.
She is a committed and high profile activist known for her work raising awareness of HIV. Her charity, the Circle, works to empower women around the world, helping them to harness their skills and creativity.
In 2018 Annie was made chancellor of Scotland’s Glasgow Caledonian University, the first woman to occupy the post.
We’re honoured to have Annie as one of our regular supporters and this year she’s donated a beautiful pair of EU size 39 Katsura Itami sequinned mules.
