Former cricketer David Lloyd also known as Bumble, played county cricket for Lancashire and Test Match and One Day Internationals for England.
An accomplished footballer he also played on a semi-professional level for Accrington Stanley.
David Lloyd captained his county from 1973 to 1977 and following his retirement as a player, he became an umpire, and later a Lancashire and England cricket coach. He resigned as a coach following the 1999 Cricket World Cup and took up commentating for Test Match Special and is currently a pundit for Sky Sports.
We’re honoured to have David as a first time donor to the Small Steps Project this year.
