Metronomy are an electronic mostly instrumental band formed in 1999. Whilst their founder, Joseph Mount, has remixed many other artists, including Franz Ferdinand and Lady Gaga, Metronomy have realised five albums of their own material, mostly recently “Summer 08” in July 2016. Their 2014 single “Love Letters” was named Zene Lowe’s “Hottest Record in the Word”.
The band donated to SSP for the first time in 2014. This year they are generously donating a fabulous pair of white and cream canvas Spring Court trainers, UK size 9, which they were delighted to sign for us while at Glastonbury 2017 for their Sunday Night set on the John Peel stage.
