Prior to breaking into TV and film, Simon Pegg was a hugely successful standup comedian.
In 2004, he teamed up with Edgar Wright to co-write the screenplay for the award winning zombie comedy, Shaun of the Dead, with Wright directing and Pegg playing Shaun. Hollywood soon came calling and in 2006, he made his first appearance in the role of Benji Dunn in Mission: Impossible – III, starring opposite Tom Cruise. He went on to reprise the role in several sequels, including Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and most recently 2018 in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
Simon’s also appeared in Hector and the Search for Happiness, The Boxtrolls, Absolutely Anything, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, reprising his role as Scotty in Star Trek Beyond.
We’re very honoured to have Simon’s ongoing support for the Small Steps Project, and this year he’s donated pair of coveted Black Adidas Star Wars Death Star Trainers in a UK 10.5.
“I’m donating a pair of Adidas Originals from the Star Wars collection! I’ve only worn them around the house as they were too special to wear outside.”
