In May 2011 solicitors from across the UK left England to walk barefoot across the beaches of Normandy. The idea? To raise awareness and funds for the Small Steps Project. The said: “The project is a charity that provides much needed support for children living on dumping sites across the world. Their aim is to both raise awareness and provide much needed footwear to protect from harm and disease. Along with Shift Studios, three legal staff from Wosskow Brown Solicitors in Sheffield, trudged the 23 miles from Ouistreham to the village of Paisty-Vert across two days.”  They raised an enormous £5,000 for Small Steps.
